Quick Guide to Soft Contact Lenses
There are two main material groups of Soft lenses materials containing between 38 and 75% water - standard polymer plastic Hydrogel and the new Silicone Hydrogels.
The Silicone Hydrogels were initially brought out as premium Extended wear lenses, but are now moving down the range and there are now even Daily Disposable ones. This material will become standard use over the next few years as it gets cheaper and it is the healthiest option.

All Soft lenses are immediately very comfortable and most people can wear them full time straight away.
These days most full time wearers pay by Direct Debit for the convenience of our Frequent Replacement Scheme to cover ALL their optical costs, but we are happy to supply lenses for occasional wear too.
Most Soft lenses are now disposable – anything from daily to three monthly.
