Davis Optometrists Corporate Eye Care

Eye Examinations for Employers and employees

As an employer the visual health of all of your employees is hugely important to your business. Regular eye examinations with a qualified Optometrist benefits you in terms of staff wellbeing, adhering to the law, and fulfilling Health and Safety requirements.

The Health & Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992 state that if your employee uses a VDU they can request an eye examination from their employer, and the employer is obliged to supply this. High dependent users, such as data input staff whose job depends on using a computer are entitled to an eye examination, as are medium users who need a computer to do their job even if they are not constantly at the screen.

If your employee needs glasses specifically for the VDU then you need to pay for basic glasses too. This is a very small sector of the population, relating to people in their mid-fifties upwards, who just need a small amount of magnification to see the screen clearly.

If you entrust your employees to us, then you can be assured they will receive the best possible care. We will offer you a reduced rate for their examination, reports of the results, and fair decisions on dispensing glasses. Frames and lenses are offered at a corporate rate too.

You can call us at any time if you would like to discuss our corporate package. There is no minimum number of tests or contract time period. Call the Kettering branch on 01536 512792 and ask to speak to Lynn Carson.

As an introduction to our way of working, we would like to offer a complimentary eye examination to the decision maker in your company. Contact Lynn to arrange an appointment. We are also happy to come and visit to chat to you, give you any further clarification you need, or to set the scheme up.

Always had good service from you over 52 years.
