We're Back in Practice!

Covid-19 and your Eyecare

After many weeks of working behind closed doors we're now back in practice in every branch, and we're looking forward to seeing you whenever you're ready to see us. We have put all the necessary measures in place to ensure your safety and ours, and we're very excited to welcome you back!

Professional staff are now wearing the appropriate PPE, and we are of course working within the Government's recommended social distancing guidelines. There are sanitization stations at the front door, which will be kept locked at present and managed by the dispensing staff. Hand sanitizer is available at several points throughout each practice, and your time with the team will be managed to keep yourselves and the team safe. For dispenses, fittings and eye examinations we will be asking patients to wear a face mask.

So our usual services are still available but we're working in a slightly different way to make sure we all stay healthy and well. Please phone your preferred branch on the usual numbers for advice, queries, or just to hear a friendly voice who will look after you!

Contact Lens Patients

Supplies of your lenses have continued as normal during the pandemic. We were making deliveries during lockdown, but you can now safely visit your preferred practice to collect your supplies. If you wish to change to home delivery on a permanent basis please ring your branch to discuss this.

Eyecare

We now have new clinical systems in place for eye examinations and ocular emergencies. If you need our help, please call your branch during office hours and we'll discuss your needs with you. Part of your consultation will now be over the phone with your Optometrist before your visit. If you're in any doubt, or need to talk about your vision or eye health, call your branch for help.

Eyewear

Our dispensing rooms are now re-stocked with beautiful eye wear, which will be sanitized if frames have been handled. Dispensing staff will wear appropriate PPE, and hand sanitizer will be available. We will ask patients who are with a dispenser to wear a face mask. Patients can still take frames home for opinions from friends and family.

Opening Times

For the moment Rothwell will be closed on Wednesday afternoons, and Thrapston will be closed on Tuesdays. Please call the head office in Kettering during those times if you need our help. All other branches are open on their usual times.
