We can cater for all your sunglass needs with a variety of options to help you look good and see well in the sun. There are choices to suit your lifestyle if you need prescription lenses, or if just want to protect your eyes with non-prescription lenses. Prescription Sunglasses
Many of our clients now opt for a pair of glasses just for the sun, in the form of fixed tint, full UV protection prescription sunglasses. We have a range of designer frames made just for this purpose, including Wimbledon, Calvin Klein, Michael Kors and Nautica, all starting at £94 for single vision. Or you can pick any frame from our stock, and have your lenses put into it with a dark tint – bespoke sunglasses, totally original to you! Some of our standard sunglasses can also be used for prescription lenses, the team can advise you on what is suitable. If you want something more flexible, you can opt for photochromics, lenses that go dark in the sun. Only UV light triggers the reaction, so these lenses will adapt to the sun but remain clear indoors. All of these options are available in most powers, in single vision, bifocal and varifocals, and in different colours.
Non-Prescription Sunglasses
If you do not need vision correction, then we stock a range of sunglasses to give you full protection from glare and UV. Luxury names include Pucci, Cavalli, Fendi, Kenzo, Paul Smith, Oakley and Ralph Lauren. We can advise you on the correct fit and style, and adjust the glasses to make them comfortable for you. Sunglass purchases are covered by the same aftercare as all other glasses, so call in at any time for cleaning, adjustments, or repair.
Sunglasses For Sport
If you play a specific sport and need more specialist lenses, then the team can talk to you about what you need and what tints would enhance your performance. We can suggest a range of tints which will help to raise your game on the green or on the pitch!
