Rimless Frames
Although the Fashionistas amongst us are plumping for chunky and bold frames, rimless styles will always have a place in the hearts of the more minimalist amongst you. These glasses comprise a bridge and side arms, which are attached by drilling into the lenses. This gives you a light, barely there look, and wearers like the invisible effect of these specs.
Rimless can be very simple and plain, or very jewellery like, embellished with stones or colour inlay. The shape of the lens dictates the shape of the finished specs, so if you want wacky square eyes or even to copy a frame youve always loved, you can ask for the lenses to be cut into your chosen shape. You can also have a groove inset around the lens and filled with coloured enamel, if you still want the definition of a rim but not the weight.
An anti-reflection coating on these lenses enhances the barely there look, or a coloured tint can add interest and draw attention to the lens shape.
