We've moved on somewhat from the simple days of NHS chic!
Many a schoolchild had terror struck into their hearts at the thought of pink or brown plastic frames, whereas now theyre positively delighted at the idea of owning their very own piece of Designer heaven. All of the famous fashion houses have a stake in the eyewear market. Gucci, Christian Dior, Marc Jacobs, Givenchy, Paul Smith, Prada, Kenzo, Cavalli, the list is endless.
You can wear a designer product every day of the week at a far cheaper cost than the hottest new 'it' bag. Marc Jacobs frame, around £169. Marc Jacobs bag, £350 upwards.....and at least your specs are a necessity!
Don't ever worry that you're only paying for the name, no Designer would put their name to a product that didnt reflect the quality they are famous for.
At Davis Optometrists we pick the best names for the best price, and only stock ranges where we feel that the quality justifies the cost. Its important to us that we trust the product - we also have to like them! We would never dream of selling anything that we do not love ourselves.
Even if its not in your price range at present, always check out the Designer displays to see whats new. Just as with clothing these products tell you what trends will be hot for the next season, as fashions filter through to more mainstream manufacturers. Styles are more diverse at present, with less of an emphasis on a single shape or colour palette.
