How Do We Check Your Eyes?
The optician will check your vision and have a look inside your eye – no drops involved, no pain, nothing touches your eyes! We also make sure that your eyes are working together properly, and that your pupils react normally to light. If you do need specs a dispenser will help you to pick something.
You can come back with a friend or your Mum etc if you want their opinion. If you’re interested in contact lenses you’ll have a trial where we fit a pair of lenses and then assess you after a couple of hours. We then teach you how to look after them. You can contact your optician after the test or at any time if you need them. We keep full records and are always happy to help if you need us.
